A welcome ceremony for the inaugural District Governor 306 D12, Lion M. Pathmanathan, and First Lady Lion P. Pathmadevi, is scheduled for July 26, 2025, at the Arrival Terminal of Katunayake International Airport in Sri Lanka. The event will be held to honor and welcome the newly appointed District Governor as the new Lionistic year commences.
The ceremony is expected to be a significant event, symbolizing the strength and fellowship of the multiple districts. It will also mark the beginning of a new era for Lions Multiple District 306, with the newly formed districts officially coming into effect starting July 2025. The event will be a celebration of leadership and service as the 12 pioneering District Governors take on their roles as the founding pillars of their respective district
