Mohan began the day by completing his morning chores before assisting Seelan and Rapin with the ongoing work.
Seelan and Rapin were engaged in moving the tractor and tipping soil loads into the paddy land. In addition, paint trays and rollers were purchased along with paint for them to start work on painting the front walls.
Contract workers were also present on site, loading sand into the tractor trailer.
Sudha Welder’s brother-in-law, Kannan, undertook fabrication work on site. He constructed the support for the worktop using metal box bars, while Sudha Welder completed the job with a shutterboard surface.
The mason, together with his helper, worked on completing the left-hand wall and carried out plastering.
Breakfast was arranged for eight people—six at the farm where workers had started from 6.00 a.m.—and lunch was also provided to the team as they continued their efforts to complete tasks in preparation for the Thaaga Shanthi scheduled on Sunday 14th September 2025.
Later in the day, Thilakshan from Jaffna Granite visited the site to take measurements for the granite worktop. He quoted Rs. 98,700 for the worktop and a further Rs. 97,000 for the splashback, shelf, and front cover. Given the high cost at this stage, it was decided to proceed with shutterboard as a temporary measure.
Mohan did morning chores in PTK and then collected two brooms from Namby for SK.
Seeland helped Rapin to remove the from posts near the Thani Bundle. They then filled the channel along the fence area with large rocks and blocks, The finished at 7.30 pm
2 extra helpers worked today clearing the piles of soil in the coconut land. Today 5 tractor loads were moved to the paddy fields in readiness of the new coconut trees. They are on a contract basis.

Mohan did his usual morning chores in PTK and SK. In addition he picked all the plastic up from around the outside wall in PTK and Mythily land, and cut down the grass and weeds also.
In the afternoon he was clearing outside the fence along the paddy fields of the weeds and rubbish, cutting back the overgrown vegetation.
Rapin and Seelan were removing the broken fence post to the right of the house and filling the fence area with large boulders then put metal framework was used to as a makeshift fence.
Mason Thuvarakan worked on his own today plastering.

Rapin and Mohan were clearing the land by the washing area and in front of tractor shed, collecting all unnecessary branches and weeds which the piled up and burnt.
Seelan also was cutting some walls in the new build at SK with the large angle grinder.

Mohan called last night to request if he could start late as he had to take his dog to vet. This was ok.
He came to work by 11am and did the morning chores in SK.
Worked in SK spreading the fertilizer that the others were collecting and delivering.
Seelan, Rapin and Kuna (1st Day) first thing were spreading the fertlizer in SK.
10.45am in PTK to collect more compost from bunkers.
This was spread in Umapathy Uncle land.
Collected recycle bin and extra materials from Sutha Welder and delivered to PTK.

Mohan, Rapin and Appu collected the remaining leaves from BPS and also took from the bunkers in PTK, where there is still much to collect. Also collected from Ravi Anna place.
This fertilizer was put in SK paddy fields and spread out. They finished at 7pm.
