We returned to the Pradeshiya Sabha Vaddukoddai office today after completing the requests made during our previous visit on 17th June 2025. We had obtained the required extracts and ensured all copies were certified as true copies by Saruja Lawyer.
We handed the documents over to the OIC, who carefully reviewed the paperwork and discussed several points with us and her colleagues. There were still issues with the paperwork, leading to some confusion about how best to proceed.
After much discussion, the OIC advised that the quickest and most effective solution to resolve the Solai Vari application problems would be to:

Change the Solai Vari into Ravi’s name, and

Address the missing documents through proper legal channels.
To achieve this, the OIC recommended that a lawyer complete the form provided to us today. The lawyer would also be able to:

Certify the necessary copies of documentation, and

Log the missing deed as lost.
We informed the OIC that we would return once the lawyer had completed all the required steps.
