Dinner Meeting with Rotary Clubs

An appointment had been scheduled to attend a dinner meeting at Nugagama, Cinnamon Grand on Wednesday, 20th August 2025 at 6:45 pm. This was a joint meeting with the Rotary Clubs of Colombo West, Colombo Metropolitan, and Colombo, by invitation of RTN-TM Shuvo, Club Secretary of the Colombo West Rotary Club.
Rotary International is a global network of community-minded professionals dedicated to service, fellowship, and leadership development. The organisation undertakes projects aimed at improving health, education, and livelihoods locally and internationally. Attending this meeting provided insight into the activities and impact of the Rotary Clubs, as well as an opportunity to explore membership and actively contribute to meaningful community initiatives.
Ravi attended the event, where he met with Mr Shuvo, the President of the Rotary Club of Colombo West, and several high society members of the club. The food at Nugagama in Cinnamon Grand was excellent. Many valuable networking contacts were made, and further information regarding the Rotary Club was gleaned. A number of people exchanged business cards with Ravi, and he did likewise.
It was a very good evening overall, and there is much anticipation for the next meeting, which will be on 3rd September 2025 for lunch.
