Calf Purchase and Herd Update

On Monday, 25th August 2024, we purchased three young calves from Innasai Thamilan. Rapin and Mohan went to collect the calves in the morning. Before taking them to the farm, the calves were first brought to PTK so that Ravi could see them and check their condition personally.
The calves were healthy and active, showing no signs of illness, although they may require some worming treatment as a precaution. After inspection, they were safely transported to the farm and settled into their new environment.
This purchase increases the total number of animals in the herd to ten, strengthening the farm’s livestock and contributing to the organic farming. by way of natural feeding off the land. The addition of these young calves was welcomed by everyone involved, and they quickly adapted to their surroundings.
