Coconut Plants Donation at GS Office, Varaiyarukkappadda

At 10.15 a.m., a meaningful donation event took place at the GS Office, Varaiyarukkappadda, Chulipuram East (J/174). On this occasion, two coconut plants each were donated to selected recipients, who had been carefully identified by GS Raj Khanna as deserving and genuinely interested in growing the plants.
The initiative was organised by the Lions Club of Vaddukoddai and generously sponsored by the Greenland Foundation. Representing the club were 1st Vice District Governor Lion Uthayasurian, Club Secretary Lion Nanthan, Lion Ravisangar, and Lion Lady Anita.
Though modest in scale, the program reflects the Club’s long-term vision of supporting families towards sustainable living. By encouraging the planting of coconut trees, the project ensures future economic benefit while also contributing to environmental conservation within the community.
