Lions Club of Kilinochchi – Installation of Office Bearers Ceremony

The Installation of Office Bearers Ceremony for the Lions Club of Kilinochchi was held in Chavachcheri. The Lions Club of Vaddukoddai was represented by 1st Vice Governor Uthaysurian Anna and his wife, who attended as Chief Guests, along with President Lion Thiruchenthuran, Lion Jeyanthan, and Lion Ravisangar and his wife.
The event started promptly at 4.30pm with the traditional blessings and lighting of the oil lamps, where several guests were invited to participate. Following this, the assembly proceeded into the hall to begin the official programme. The ceremony commenced with a silent prayer followed by the Lionism prayer. The President delivered a brief address before the official swearing-in of the new office bearers.
The new President then addressed the assembly and provided an update on the projects currently in progress. The Chief Guest and his wife were honoured with shawls and formally thanked for their presence and support. Congratulations and best wishes were also extended by representatives of various Lions Clubs present at the ceremony. The evening concluded with a fellowship dinner graciously hosted by the Lions Club of Kilinochchi, and the event formally ended at 9.00pm.
Attendance at this event was significant in strengthening our ongoing engagement with community organisations and in supporting the newly appointed office bearers as they assumed their responsibilities.
